4. How Consumer Leads Are Shared
CABOOM Leads is a lead-generation and lead-distribution business.
When a consumer submits information requesting insurance-related information, the consumer's information may be provided, licensed, disclosed, or otherwise made available to participating insurance agents, advisors, or agencies so that an insurance professional can contact and assist the consumer.
A consumer's information may not necessarily be provided to only one insurance professional for all time.
CABOOM Leads may retain lead information and, subject to our lead-management rules, later make that information available to another participating insurance professional.
4.1 Initial Lead Exclusivity
CABOOM Leads generally provides the purchasing or receiving agent with an initial period of exclusivity.
Unless otherwise stated:
-
Standard newly generated leads are initially exclusive to the receiving agent for 30 days; and
-
Newly generated annuity leads are initially exclusive for 60 days.
During this period, CABOOM Leads does not intend to make that lead available to another participating CABOOM Leads agent through its shared lead pool.
4.2 Shared Lead Pool
After the applicable exclusivity period expires, consumer lead information may become eligible for CABOOM Leads' shared lead pool if the original agent has not properly indicated through the CABOOM Leads Portal that the consumer has been sold or is actively being assisted.
The purpose of the shared pool is to provide another participating insurance professional with an opportunity to assist a consumer when the original receiving agent has not indicated that the consumer relationship should remain protected.
As a result, consumer information may be disclosed to more than one participating insurance agent, advisor, or agency over time.
4.3 Sold & Protected Leads
CABOOM Leads customers may mark a lead as Sold and submit a required results/removal form through the CABOOM Leads Portal.
When this process is properly completed, CABOOM Leads uses that information to identify the consumer as being actively assisted or otherwise protected and to remove the lead from future availability within the shared lead pool, subject to technical processing, legal requirements, fraud prevention, duplicate-record correction, and other legitimate business purposes.
4.4 Aged Leads
CABOOM Leads may offer eligible consumer leads through aged-lead products at different age tiers.
This means a consumer's information may have previously been:
-
Assigned to another agent;
-
Delivered to another agent;
-
Purchased by another agent;
-
Contacted by another insurance professional; or
-
Made available through an earlier aged-lead tier.
CABOOM Leads may continue making an eligible lead available through subsequent aged-lead tiers unless the lead has been properly protected, removed, suppressed, or otherwise made ineligible for redistribution.
5. How We Disclose Personal Information
Depending on how you interact with us, we may disclose personal information to the following categories of recipients.
Insurance Agents, Advisors & Agencies
If you submit information as a consumer seeking insurance-related information or assistance, we may disclose your information to participating insurance agents, advisors, agencies, or other insurance professionals.
As described above, your information may be provided to more than one insurance professional over time.

7. Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information
Because CABOOM Leads generates and distributes consumer leads, certain disclosures of personal information to insurance professionals or advertising partners may constitute a “sale,” “sharing,” or similar activity under certain state privacy laws.
If you are a consumer and wish to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information where applicable, contact:
Use the subject line:
“Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information.”
Where required by applicable law, CABOOM Leads will also honor qualifying browser-based or universal opt-out preference signals.

Consumers may contact CABOOM Leads and request that their information no longer be distributed through CABOOM Leads' shared lead pool or aged-lead products.
Requests may be submitted to:
Please provide enough information for us to locate the applicable lead record, such as your name, telephone number, and email address.
After verifying and processing a valid request, we will take reasonable steps to suppress the consumer's information from future CABOOM Leads lead distribution as required by applicable law and our internal procedures.
A suppression request does not necessarily require CABOOM Leads to delete all information relating to the consumer. We may retain information necessary to:
-
Document and honor the suppression request;
-
Maintain legal or compliance records;
-
Resolve disputes;
-
Prevent fraud;
-
Enforce agreements; and

9. Communication Preferences
You may opt out of CABOOM Leads marketing emails by using the unsubscribe instructions included in those communications.
You may opt out of SMS communications as described in the applicable message or by using other opt-out methods required by law.
Opting out of marketing communications does not necessarily prevent us from sending:
-
Transactional messages;
-
Account notifications;
-
Security alerts;
-
Service-related communications; or
-
Messages otherwise permitted or required by law.
Communications sent directly by an independent insurance agent or agency may be subject to that agent's or agency's own privacy practices and communication procedures.

Because CABOOM Leads may retain and redistribute eligible lead information after the initial delivery to an agent, consumer lead information may be retained beyond the original exclusivity period.
When information is no longer reasonably required, we may delete, anonymize, aggregate, archive, or otherwise dispose of it in accordance with our practices and applicable law.
11. Security of Information
